Her second single release, ‘Bleading Love’ was the biggest selling single of 2007 in the United Kingdom and also hit the top of the charts in the US.
Leona Lewis debut album, called ‘Spirit’ released in 2007 became the fastest selling debut album ever in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The album was released in North America in 2008 and came in at number one in the US charts making Leona Lewis the first English solo artist to get a number one in the US with a debut album.
Since then Leona Lewis has reached number one in at least three continents and nine countries.
To date she has been the most successful X-Factor winner.
