:pouty: I am absolutely disgusted in X Factor!! Im not sure i will watch it again after the shock eviction of Laura White, that poor girl, she is one of the most talented people ive ever heard and i would pay good money to see her in concert and buy her CD’s. How on earth(no badness meant) did Laura get voted out when there are some awful singers(who obviously wont go very far after the show) still left in.
Ive never been so furious in my life before, Laura should never have gone, big mistake X Factor, your going to lose alot of viewers!

It’s really sad to see Laura out as she is great but I am also glad to see that Ruth is still in as I think she is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love JLS there sick. But what were they thinking kicking laura off the the show. Shes got much betta talent than ruth who should of gone of the show ages ago.

OMG I didn’t watch X factor last night so only just found out that Laura got booted off. I love Laura, Ruth and Alexandra but the rest are pretty rubbish. All trading on their own sob stories rather than talent
Here’s to sum up the way the show’s going ( in my opinion).
I’m a singer and would love to showcase my talent but I hate the media hype and crap that goes with it. People who are selected to go to boot camp and the subsequent live shows are very fortunate but tend to pay for it with their souls and their dignity.
Simon is generally right with his opinions, but he gambles on what he expects the other judges to vote (as in the case with Laura this week) and this often backfires. This is clearly not fair on the contestant.
He also shrewdly and knowingly pre-empts the voting public and plays the media by ‘planting seeds’ during his commentary.
Louis appears to be a little naive with some of his comments, particularly the ones he gives on Daniel. Yes, Daniel has a nice voice, nice tones etc, but he has a very limited range, no presence and clearly should not win; but Louis keeps pulling him down, and the public don’t like that !
Louis, keep your mouth shut man, allow the public to decide for themselves.
Danni and Cheryl do waffle on a bit but do it without trying to persuade a specific outcome by the public.
On the singers;
Eoghan had his best week by far this week, but he is by no means the best from his category, his votes are based on him being cute. Realisticly, he needs a couple more years to allow his voice and style to mature.
Austin was far superior and the other guy was better too.
JLS are ok but would get carried away with all the glory (particularly the one who’s been fronting the band).
Daniel, as explained above, he has a place, but it’s not at the helm of X factor.
Should have been in bottom 2 this week.
Alexandra, very good, lot’s of stage presence, would be great to watch in concert and has a voice and charm which would sell.
Ruth, fiery vixen, great versatile voice, would be great to watch her typically Spanish dramatics in concert.
Did not deserve to be in the bottom 2 this week.
Rachel, unique strong sound, she has a poor attitude and would be difficult to manage, she is also a little dull to watch. This week, despite her having demanded her own song choice, she made the wrong decision, it didn’t work, she was all over the place with it. She should have been in the bottom 2 this week, and probably should have gone.
Diana, unique voice and style (although has a distinct element of Dido), unassuming and extremely marketable, she would sell millions of records, would need some choreography to excite the appeal of watching a live show.
Shame she was ill this week, I was looking forward to hearing her slant on a Mariah Carey track.
Laura, W.T.F, this girl has an amazing voice and buckets of talent, her control is brilliant, her range is superb, she plays the piano. Out of all the contestants, she is world class and should never have found herself at the bottom at all.
This is the one that Simon gambled on, I felt sure that he did not want to vote Laura off (although he would never admit it), he should not have relied on what he anticipated the outcome to be, he looked very shocked by the final decision by Louis. Simon owes it to Laura to market her immediately before someone else does.
The Judges should not try to influence the public with seemingly suggestive or subliminal messages. Allow them to decide for themselves.
Surely the X Factor is seeking a versatile entertainer with several qualities. Is this not what the ‘X Factor’ is ?
I am shocked! Not in a million years I expected to see these two girls in the bottom two! And I’m not blaming judges but the thick thick people who are voting out of their sympathy. When are they going to understand that this show is not about likeability? Or the soapiest story ever heard? If it was, I would fill in the application myself but I would discredit any of my friends voting for me just because my dad died or because my personal life sucks! Rachel should have gone ages ago. So what if she has a strong voice? She has a team of people who work for her and her performance has not improved at all. This time she chose her own song and my ears still hurt it was sooooo out of tune! Laura was one of the strongest contestants, and Ruth’s ‘Purple Rain’ was simply mind-blowing. If the public don’t get a grip this show will end up with the weekest singer winnig a competition. Then I want to see how many of these poor suckers will go and spend money on Daniel’s album. Shame!
