He is now best known for his work on various TV shows, such as The X-Factor, Pop Idol, American Idol and Britan’s Got Talent.
Simon Cowell also owns Syco, a television and music publishing company.

simon you have got to be the most honest judge yet, you are direct and totoally honest and obviously amusing .recently they were discussing you on irish radio and i sent a text in saying that imhave told mychildren that my dying wish eould be to meet you, to which they said “mother you are over 60 and need to be sent for rehab…to whichb i replied i dont mind that as long as simon is there”!!!!!!radio quite amused and asked me to go on air but i refused just in case i was committed!!! i wishnyou good health and happiness always

In my opinion Simon Cowell is brilliant in the x factor. Out of all the judges he is the only one to tell it as he sees it; judging the performer on his / her abilities but also looking forward to what they might be with a recording contract, big time fame, etc. Carry on Simon.
Simon, im coming on the x factor 09. I hope you will say something good about me. :cheerful: I think your the most honest judge out of all four of you. :cheerful: I think your the best judge. Im coming to the x factor to see if my voice is any good or not :cheerful: I hope it is. I watch the x factor ever saturday night. When i watch it, it makes me want to sing. :cheerful: Im a massive fan of Eoghan hes a really good singer for his age and im supprised that diana went on the 6th of December. When i come on the x factor i really really hope i can get to the same stage as Eoghan. :cheerful: I sing infront of people at my school and even teachers. :cheerful: And i sang infront of all of all my art class and one of my class mates said im an amazing singer. And i just hope that you can say the same about me. :cheerful: See you in the x factor 2009 :cheerful: and soon ive got to sing infront of my WHOLE school and there 2500 people in my school including the teachers, ive got to sing in my school assembly when i break up from school for the christmas holidays. i love simon hes the most hounest person if i sang infront of any judge out of all the four judges it would half to be simon even if he didnt put me throught i would still be happy cuz he hounest and he is doing his job and anyway if i new i couldnt sing i wouldnt go on xfactor anyway but when im old anough im gunna go and see what he says and i cant wait. if it wasnt for him leona the best singer going from xfactor would not of won thankyouuu and make age 14 go on xfactor u never no u might find talent !! love youu

I have always thought Simon gives the best critique of the acts but I think his comments about the twins initiated the hate campaign. With what has recently happened to Leona I think judges have to be more responsible about what they say.
simon is really tough when it comes to judging but the honest truth comes out naturally and he can estimate an auditioner how far can he/she excel in the competition.hes really one of a kind who has a soft heart ever so humble & simple.keep up the good work simon..& good health always so you can reach to the needy.
he has fair comments but he should not have said that lucie sang like an actress because it was world class!
Simon knows his job and is the fairest (ie the most honest) of them all.
I am a musician and if I were in a situation where I was judged on my performance, I would prefer it to come from someone who knows his / her job.
The best judges were Simon, Louise and Sharon the other two are just a joke and after the twins, I am starting to doubt the abilities of Louise.
If the twins won the competition Louis Walsh should pay for their recording contract. They have absolutely no talent. At one time I was a fan of queen music, after last night I am not too sure.
Honest qualified musician.
Simon tells some home truths and usually his comments are on the money. But this year he’s less impressive – seems unable to praise Lucie as the biggest threat to his strong contestents. Seems insanely biased, trying to bully us all into liking the curiously unloveable Danyl. A few weeks ago he said that x factor is about finding a recording artist. After Danyl sang out of tune he decided it’s about finding someone to represent this country (no ludicrous but amusing Jedward won’t do – we get it). Nobody would bother voting for Jedward if they weren’t enjoying the rare sight of Simon misjudging his audience’s taste and being a bit humourless aboutit. Though he did say ages ago that Danyl was Marmite- that’s exactly what he is. I can’t explain why I loathe him but I just do…it’s an imperfect world. So even if more of us loathe him than love him, Simon is still right.
I saw through the internet, the amount of money Simon receives per week / per year.
If he were a footballer I would say that he didn’t deserve the money for kicking a ball around a park but I won’t.
Being a fellow musician, he is worth every penny and good at his job. Keep it up Simon.
