Series three of the UK based X-Factor was broadcast on ITV1 and TV3, it started on the 19th of August 2006 and finished on the 16th of December 2006.
Leona Lewis was declared the winner with Simon Cowell as mentor.
All three of the original judges, Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne returned for the show and were joined by Paula Abdul as a guest judge at the London auditions.
Simon Cowell mentored the 16-24 year olds.
Sharon Osbourne mentored the 25 and overs.
Louis Walshe mentored the Groups.
