For the first time since 2005, the X-Factor has missed out on the Christmas No.1 spot.

After Rage Against The Machine Sold 100,000 downloads On Saturday alone, Simon Cowell phoned Jon and Tracy Morter to thank them for the ‘best chart battle in years’
Joe McElderry managed to secure 450,838 sales with his first single The Climb while Rage Against the Machine secured 502,673 sales.

I really don’t get the huge protest fury. Maybe next you can organize a protest against the color red. It seems to be such a big, gigantic waste of time and energy. The way I see it, music is music and talent is talent. Both are to be appreciated by a wide range of personal music tastes. There is nothing to gain by criticizing the musical choices of all the individuals of the world.
My personal opinion is your campaign produced a false result. About the only thing that was established was some people got to pay money to take a jab at Simon Cowell.
