Alexandra Burke now has the Christmas No. 1 in the UK charts with her version of Leonard Cohens Hallelujah.
Sitting at No.2 in the charts is the Jeff Buckley version of the same song orginally released in 1994.
It is the first time in 51 years that the same song has taken the No.1 & No.2 spots on the same week.
In January 1957 Tommy Steele and Guy Mitchell had both the No.1 and No.2 spots with their versions of Singin’ The Blues, a Melvin Endsley track.
Leonard Cohens version, first released in 1984 has also hit the Top 40 entering the charts for the Christmas week at No. 36.
