We had tickets for the evening performance, and were prepared to queue to get good seats. The organisation of the queueing system was poor. The most sensible way would be to acknowledge the end of the afternoon queue, and let the evening audience join in that queue. As that wasn’t allowed, we had no choice but to wait and then ‘run’ to get in the queue when allowed to do so. Despite being present since 11am yesterday, and being in the first 20 in the queue, we were directed to the back of the theatre and now allowed to sit together. I know the tickets were free, but it seemed a really unfair way to allocate seats. Perhaps seating could have been allocated to those of us who had been prepared to queue for hours ? We were really disappointed to see those who would have arrived many hours later than us, be directed to seats at the front, and together with their companions. It was also a disappointing night, as through no ones fault at all, paramedics were required to remove a young man who had hurt his knee, and this made what was already a very late start, into a very late evening. With the days queuing and the further delays, it felt a disorganised experience, and even Simon called it a night at around 10pm and said he had had enough! He should have stood in the queue all day and then got the worst seats!!!
Hi Cathy! I was one of the very last performers on Monday night. Do you remember me? My name’s Paul Usher, I’m a 22 yr old pianist and I was wearing w white shirt and black tie? Love to know your feedback – even if you didn’t like it don’t worry I’m just interested! Thanks x
Hi Paul Usher, I went to watch the X Factor auditions on the 29th of June and remembered you. I thought you were really good, probably the best contestant there that night. Hope you get through to the finals
I received a yes from the four judges whose names are Simon, Cheryl, Dannii and Louis, at the ICC in Birmingham, June 29th 2009 II sang my boy lolipop by Millie Small and recived a standing ovation from the audience.
Simon said when he saw me he didn’t know what he would expect from me, and replied you was really good and blew me a kiss.
Cheryl asked me where I got all my energy from? and said she really liked me.
Dannii said I got all the crowds going and she liked me.
Louis said I reminded him of a young Tina Turner and he liked me.
At the end of all the possitive comments I was quite emotional and Simon called me down hugged and kissed me and I hugged and kissed Cheryl, Dannii and Louis aswel
When Simon said to me you are through to boot camp I thought I was on another planet and when I finally reached Boot Camp the feeling was incredible I pinched myself on several occasions to make sure I wasn’t dreaming..
All my family, friends and total stranges have been telling me for years to enter the Xfactor and to please them I applied on four occasions to the Xfactor and chickened out each time, this time I had the courage and turned up and received four yes’s.
Dannii
