Danyl lives with his best friend just outside Reading and is a dance teacher at a boys prep school. He went to musical theatre school but didn’t like it as he felt he was more of a free spirit and being there was like being in a bubble.
He’s been in many boybands over the years – some credible and some cheesy. He’s bored of artists that are just ‘good singers’ and thinks his writing abilities make him stand out. He really likes Mark Ronson and NeYo for this reason as they perform and write.
He used to dance at Pasha nightclub whilst at university – he reckons no boys on The X Factor have ever danced like he can.
He hosts a karaoke night in London each Thursday and won Pub Stars in Hammersmith in 2005 and won £2000.

Simon could avoid a lot of disappointment for the other contestants by giving danyl a contract right now. Another thing , if you want to win something , SING like a winner, it seems to work for Danyl
When he sang on october 10th, Danny said something to him about newpapers, and that he didn’t have to change the gender or something. What was she on about?

Danni is jealous as she hasnt got someone like danyl quality in her team! He is amazing singer i dont find him cocky! Hu ever does is just jealous of his raw talent. Come on Danyl and Simon!!! Hope this guy wins if he dont he will still get singing contracts easly.
I believe the judges excluding Simon are trying to play reverse psychology so that Danyl downplays his performance and that way their own team wins. Danyl is by far the best singer there and is not cocky or overconfident. He is just someone who belives in himself and his ability.
I think that Danni should apologise tonight (Sunday) for the completely uncalled for comments last night. Who and how Daniel loves is his business – he has talent and believes in himself – Simon is probably the only judge who has the skill to manage and grow Daniel. The rest of the three judges like contestants to play the ’submissive roles’ as that is the only way they can feel confident themselve. Daniel’s response to the judges was truly professional.

hi ive loved you from day one you do have raw talent but when you perform your over the top sometimes which is why some people say they dont like you ,having talent is not a crime only a gift ,being big headed is but that is fixable
and not everyone is perfect nor have had the right guide

Danyl I think you are brilliant and anyone that says otherwise is just simply jealous. you will go a long way after this competition and even if you dont win I think you will make it bigger than whoever does either way. Some people just need this kind of competition to get them seen and heard and now that’s been done we are going to see and hear you around for along time yet xxx

This has been a great season of X Factor, I dont want it to end! I think that all of the contestants have atleast one area that they flourish in.
